Pinecone pick-up

We were on our way to church yesterday and Cora was in an exceptionally good mood. So I snapped a couple pictures of this little cutie being a busy toddler. Almost every time we walk to or from the car, she has to pick up a pine cone. Oh to enjoy the little things in life.

Halloween

She loves wearing her wings.
Fly!

Cut out felt and sewed it onto a larger piece of felt.

Beginnings of a hat.
Stopped by work to take a pic by the "haunted house" before we went trick or treating.

Made little felt feet to put around her boots.

We did some trick or treating at the mall.

I let her play with the left overs. She wanted to make flowers, so I helped.

Totally obsessed with jumping on everything!

Love this look she is giving Joel!

I'm a little late posting this, but I wanted to show Cora's Halloween costume this year. She was a little owl. She wasn't crazy about wearing all night, but she was just so cute! Apparently, here in Colorado, it's not uncommon for it to snow on Halloween. So when it was 70 degrees that day, we took the opportunity to enjoy trick-or-treating and NOT freeze! It's been a decade since it hasn't snowed or been below freezing from what I've been told down here.

This week has been exceptionally nice, but like Missouri, the weather turns on a dime. And it may snow this weekend, but it seems to melt away the next day. I still don't know if I'm ready for a Colorado winter, not that I don't have much of a choice. And it seems to be teasing us this last month snowing twice already and melting away.

Anyways, now that Halloween is over, I'm looking forward to the next holiday. Happy Thanksgiving!
