Refashioned toddler heart dress

I know it's been forever since I've done one of these, but I've been stuck inside the apartment for about a week. Due to my wisdom teeth being removed and snow storms moving through the area, I was getting really bored. Plus, I was needing a creative outlet really bad.

We are getting ready to move back to KC, so I was going through our things. Namely, our clothes. I just put them in trash bags to donate. Well, I just realized that I could reuse some of the clothes and just upcycle them. Which is what I did today! And with hopes sometime in the future, I want to build an inventory for an online boutique.

She only kept the leg warmers on for a short time, which I also made today. (Will show that refashion later.)

But I think it would look cute with leggings and maybe a cardigan.

It's a thermal knit material and I'm pretty psyched about how it turned out.

She managed to get a little stain on it while she had it on, ignore it!

Parking in Feb.

I know that in MO the weather can turn on a dime. I didn't expect that so much here in CO. But there have been many days when it would be bright and sunny, park weather even,  snow the next day, then melt the day after. And yes, we have gotten a lot of small snow storms, and a couple with 4 + inches. But they almost always melt away the next day. So winter here hasn't been too bad and we've managed to go to the park on nice days.

Just to update, we're coming back to MO in a few weeks! The beginning of March actually. I've loved our time in CO and wish we could stay just a little longer, but so ready to come home at the same time.

I apologize for the gap in posts, but I was having issues with blogger and couldn't post anything, but thankfully it's now fixed!
