From Scratch: Summer Tank

I was in the mood to make something that would fit me. It's summer so I also wanted something for the season. I looked through my stash of fabric and found a floral sheet that I knew I wasn't going to use for the bed. So I cut it up and stuck the pieces together. Well maybe a little more in depth than that. I was hoping to get it done in an evening but that didn't happen because I kept having issues with my sewing machine. Don't worry! I fixed it! Once that was figured out, I kept changing my mind on how I wanted it to look. Originally it was gonna be a dress but I decided I didn't like it and made it two separate pieces, the tank, and a skirt which I will post later.

I don't know how well you can see the straps, but I cut up an old shirt for it's lace then used it for the straps!
I also love how loose it fits. I don't like super tight clothes.

Here's a better picture of the back, and the lace I was talking about.
