It's a tunic for me

Yay! I got the camera for five minutes today and was able to take a few pictures. I bought this shirt at the thrift store for a dollar. It sat in my "clothes to alter" basket for a couple months. I decided to take it out and see what I could do. It was extremely wrinkled with HUGE shoulder pads, and really didn't seem that flattering. I picked it because I liked the colors and material, but it just needed some updating.

To make it a little more stylish, the sides have a little slit in them.
Thankfully the shoulder pads were on velcroed on!

The neckline was very high, so I lowered it just enough.
And in the back, I made the opening a little bigger.

The thing about the material is that it gets wrinkled SO easily.
As you can see, it's wrinkled, the neckline is small, and I wouldn't have blinked twice if I knew I couldn't fix it. Oh and I already took the shoulder pads out when I took this picture.

This is the backside with the button and opening, a bit smaller.
